13th Anniversary

Cruising the East and Hudson Rivers

ianna and I celebrated our 13th Wedding Anniversary at the Broadway Millennium. We cruised around the island by boat. We walked all over lower Manhattan Financial District, Battery Park, Fulton Market, Chinatown and Mulberry Street in Little Italy. Then, we enjoyed 3rd-row seating at the indescribable Lion King. Next day, we were back to Umbertos Clam house for clams on a half shell, baked clams and lobster fra diavolo. Next time well go to Vinces, where my mom ate 4-alarm mussels before I was born!

Thank you, Dianna, for being my wife!

ary and my parents threw two great barbecue parties this year. So many friends came to enjoy the CDs, great cooking, swimming and, best of all, guitar and harmonica jamming.

Pushing the Limits

e missed a few of the regulars, but Uncle Pyro went from newbie to maniac in just a few days. Thrasher managed to squeeze in a couple of days and left us a treasure chest. Opening day included a warm-up run, Rialto dinner and Sing-Sing antics. Left-Hand Canyon was a Squeeze and Big Mac defied gravity in the Dodge sparing me the agony of watching. Squirrel taught everyone what to do when you pull into a fire station asking for directions and several beer bottles fall out of your truck. Rainbow Lakes, Bill Moore Lake, St. Marys Glacier and Fall River Reservoir were gorgeous. J-Man got us up the Fall River waterfalls.

Highlights of 2003

Christmas with my family in Granite Bay included gourmet meals by my dad and mom, Napa wine tasting and lunch on the hill with the Sullivans and Schwendlers, way too many Christmas gifts for our Breckenridge weekend, walks with mom, and wine, cigars and cards with dad and Gary.

Ros found a great cabin in Blue River where the Merrills, Dorans and Panepintos continued the New Years tradition. Trev got some air on the snowmobile and we all enjoyed the open space at Vail Summit. Ill always remember the ski lessons with Wendy and Ros my favorite day skiing ever! Take them moguls!

Rick and Laura invited Scott, Horseshoe Jim and us to Kauai to warm up after Breckenridge. Chantelle joined us and she and Dianna took a helicopter tour of the garden isle while Rick and Paul battled the Prince course. Lost 18 balls this time, down from 44 lost last year. Met up with the Kobs for golf and a great meal at Sam Chois.

Sullys boys world in Whistler had me struggling to keep up. Bloody Caesars and Jager Bombs stopped the pain. Too much fun!

Back to Hawaii for Claudia and Williams 20th Anniversary and wedding vow renewal at the Halekulani. Kob set the bar high that day with Kaioko tossing rose pedals and the garden ceremony. We so much enjoyed meeting your families and friends.

We enjoyed several memorable visits from Doc Telco this year. Dinner at Gallaghers, cooking Asian noodles and squid, and Old Town brewery and bars were fun. Thanks for making the Rocky Mountain drive with me in the STS and the S. Mtn. golf game in SLC. Rock on.

Kob, Sully and Wetmore teamed up with me at Crystal Springs Golf Club for a great game. To console us for high scores, we enjoyed MacCallum 25 and fine cigars at Jason and Cris home with my parents, Gary and the Colombos.

Tony R visited and we cooked Asian noodle dishes and had a great game at Marianna Butte golf course.

Mom, Dad, Gary and Cris took an SUV trip to CO and caught up with J-Man and us for a fun 4th of July bbq and fireworks show.

Cigars and Scotch at the Smoke Shop with Dan, Kit, John and Eugene.

Dinner with Eug and Judy and a visit to their gorgeous home.

Sullys 40th birthday party with Rethans, the Kobayashis and the Schwendlers. Way to ring in the decade, Rob.

Matts 1st birthday party at Dan and JoJos new home in NH. Dads seafood bouillabaisse was a hit.

Mike Gs guacamole recipe and the perfect steak bbq party.

Laughing with Mooney and Sully as Danny Boy is victorious in the golf showdown.

Snowy, midnight Valentines and birthday dinners with Dianna at the Melting Pot. Thanks Dan and JoJo for the fine champagne to celebrate.

aspy (Sponge Bob) and India (Princess) went trick or treating with Scott (Baseball Player) and Trevor (Horrible, Bloody Scream Mask) and me (Sponge Bob) this Halloween. After we terrorized shop-owners at the mall, we terrorized Scott and Trevors neighborhood. Thanks for an unforgettable Halloween!

om, Dianna, Aunt Cathy and Uncle Richard, and Martha made a trip to the Western Slope for antiquing and visiting the peach farms in Grand Junction. Then, they were off for a weekend trip to Pueblo West to visit Martha and Jess. Aunt Cathy, Martha and Dianna snuck off to Seattle and Victoria, B.C. for a few days. They enjoyed great food, traveling by ferry in the Puget Sound, and holiday shopping.

hanksgiving with Mom and Dad, Gary, and Jason and Cris was so much fun. We had a turkey cook-off between deep-frying and slow roasting. Gary was unbeatable in the movie trivia game, Scene It. Dad made outrageously delicious shellfish dinners. Had a brief visit with Lee & Cindy and Chris and Johna, and delicious homemade cobbler!

Well celebrate the Christmas holidays in Colorado this year, but expect well use Yahoo IM Webcam to check in with everyone in CA quite a bit.
